Vidrala continually endeavours to integrate new technological enhancements that we create within our own R&D (+I) department or that are introduced to the world market by the glass packing industry. We rely on raw material and finished product laboratories : surface treatment, dimensional and capacity controls, pressure resistance, thermal shock together with many other kinds of controls and testing. At all productions stages, we apply an automatic IT monitoring process, without human intervention, which make possible various reporting configurations. Today, process simulation is getting more and more relevant. We have developed various tools that enable us to anticipate production results in relation to variation applied TO furnace design, moulding processes, etc… Vidrala relies on and applies these tools to constantly improve processes and the final quality of our glass containers.
