Encirc becomes Vidrala UK & Ireland

· Encirc’s move to the Vidrala brand celebrates its legacy and reflects a bold commitment to the UK and Ireland.

· Customers benefit from a simpler, faster and more agile service, built on a unique 360-degree model and backed by the full strength of a global glass packaging group.

· Great people, great place, great future: the purpose that guides nearly 2,000 people across Derrylin, Elton and Bristol, who produce around three billion glass containers and fill up to 500 million litres of beverages every year.

Derrylin (Ireland), 27 October 2026. Encirc, market leader in glass container design, manufacturing, filling and logistics for the food and beverage industries, becomes Vidrala UK & Ireland. This milestone honours nearly three decades of pioneering glassmaking and the people who made it possible and marks the next step in a long-term commitment: following significant investment in operations, technology and sustainability in recent years, the Vidrala Group is reaffirming its confidence in the region at a demanding time for the glass sector.

The new identity also brings customers a simpler, more agile service, backed by the scale, expertise and investment capacity of a worldwide group. At the heart of that partnership is what sets the business apart: a 360-degree model that brings together glass container design, manufacturing, filling and logistics, including access to one of Europe's largest bonded warehouses. With Vidrala UK & Ireland managing every step, customers gain speed to market and consistent quality, with lower costs and a smaller carbon footprint. Customers benefit from a simpler, faster and more agile service, built on a unique 360-degree model and backed by the full strength of a global glass packaging group.

Sean Murphy, Managing Director of Vidrala UK & Ireland, said: “This is a proud moment for all of us. Becoming Vidrala UK & Ireland strengthens our confidence and long-term vision as we continue to manufacture our products and serve our customers in the most modern, competitive and sustainable way possible. Whatever the challenges facing our industry, our message is clear: we believe in the UK and Ireland, and we are here to stay, invest and grow, firmly committed to our customers, our people and the communities we serve. Together, we are stronger.”
